Debbie Pennock began A Beacon Of Love, Inc. in February 2016 to support military families. She is committed to bridging the "gap" in services for Veterans and military families by bringing people and services together to support day to day family needs. She will advocate by connecting military families to support resources. Helping families during and post-deployment is key to strengthening and building healthy, happy, and successful marriages and families. Previously, she had a twenty year career in the health care industry. She held the position of Assistant Administrator at Colonie Manor adult care facility managing day to day operations. Debbie joined Siemens Power Technologies International (PTI) in 1998 where she developed a robust, world-renowned customer support program and recently retired after 18 years.
Debbie earned a Bachelors of Arts in Organizational Management at Ashford University in 2012. She received her coaching certification as a Life Empowerment Coach from the Institute for Professional Excellence In Coaching (IPEC) in 2013. Her coaching skills help veterans integrate back into civilian life as they overcome personal and traumatic challenges as well as work with families to assist them in understanding and supporting their loved one. She was the Director of The Third Option marriage/relationship support group in Johnstown, NY, sponsored by A Beacon Of Love. Inc. The Third Option taught skills and techniques needed to have happier, healthier marriages/relationships through development of better understanding, greater sensitivity and trust, while using more effective communication and listening skills.
Debbie is also a member of Patriot Guard Riders, NY whose mission is to provide dignity and respect at memorial services honoring Fallen Military Heroes, First Responders and honorably discharged Veterans. She is the Volunteer Coordinator for the Leatherstocking Honor Flight committee(LHF). LHF flies our heroes, free of charge, to Washington, DC to experience and reflect together at their memorials. She was Co-Director for the Stephen Siller Tunnel2Towers Albany, NY stair climb, to ensure we never forget and honor the sacrifices of our first responders and military heroes from 911, and was a volunteer Case Manager for the American Red Cross - Services to the Armed Forces,
Debbie is married to Kenneth Pennock III who is retired from the Army Active Guard Reserve.
